If you consider yourself a bit of a thinker, if you have an inquisitive mind or if you just want to be entertained then this is a great site for you.
It is TED.com and is a site containing many free to watch videos of people giving all sorts of fascinating talks on technology, social issues, philosophy and health. Sounds like a stuffy university lecture right?
Wrong.
TED talks are often quite entertaining with some of the best speakers in their respective fields sharing ideas and giving demonstrations.
You can get TED.com to filter videos on subject and even the impact it had on other viewers. Subscribe for updates, search by speaker, watch playlists and learn about the TED organisation and events all over the world. You never know, you might find one nearby that you can watch live.
But for the resto of us, ideas worth sharing are as far as our computer, tablet or smartphone.
Have a look at one of my recent favorites by David Pogue : 10 top time-saving tech tips.
