Boy Genius Reports has learned that HBO is no longer taking a laid back approach to torrenters.
Relaying through the ISPs of suspected rights abusers, HBO has issued “Thousands of Warnings” in response to investigations of torrent traffic.
It looks like mum and dad torrenters are going to come to a sudden end if the likes of HBO get their way.
However, hardcore torrent users with knowledge of how to obscure their IP and consequently identity making serving warning notices difficult.
